"They are not dead, they are just dormant!" is what I used to tell my children when all the perennials appeared to die in the Fall.
This is a perfect description of Tin Shed Farm since the shop closed in December. And like a perennial in Spring, Tin Shed Farm is ready to grow again!
Seven baby goats were born this month. I have nineteen pullets in the brooder, and countless seedlings under the grow lights. Although the jam and produce are a couple of months off, I have some new products added in addition to the old favorites.
The shop season will open with a Farm Open House on May 6, from 12:00-4:00. I will have transplants for purchase, vintage items, baked goods, teas, new lip balm, goats milk soap and more. Come visit us and check out the shop. Get a look at the hardworking hens that produce those amazing eggs. And weather permitting, you can meet a baby goat!
